Medshare Project in Ndokwaland

Ndokwa Association in America (NAIA) Atlanta Chapter has been in the forefront of PROMOTING HEALTHCARE IN NDOKWA NATION. In 2012, the association donated $150,000.00 worth of medical supplies to hospitals and healthcare centers in the 3 local government areas of Ndokwaland - Ndokwa East, Ndokwa West and Ukwuani LGA’s. The donation was to help reduce the escalating costs and discomforts of receiving medical treatment amidst dwindling economic fortunes among Ndokwa indigenes at home. The Medshare project was carried out to help restore smiles back to the faces of those who had been so despaired through institutional limitations in the healthcare sector in Ndokwaland.

NAIA Convention in Atlanta

In charting a new course in developmental activities through intervention in healthcare, the ATLANTA CHAPTER successfully hosted the 2013 edition of Ndokwa Association in America convention and made healthcare it’s theme. The convention theme (HEALTHCARE FOR NDOKWALAND) was a gratifying moment in the history of the chapter and the entire NAIA as it showcased the importance of healthcare in Ndokwaland. The success of the Medshare project became a blueprint for future project interventions in Ndokwaland.
